28 de agosto.- El comandante general de la Polic\u00eda Boliviana y el diplom\u00e1tico estadounidense sostuvieron un encuentro en La Paz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El encargado de Negocios en la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Bolivia, Erik Martini, se reuni\u00f3 con el comandante general de la Polic\u00eda Boliviana, Mirko Antonio Sokol.

La fotograf\u00eda del encuentro fue publicada el jueves en la cuenta de la red social X de la Embajada de EE.UU.\u00a0

\u201cFue un placer reunirme con un verdadero luchador contra el crimen, el Gral. Mirko Sokol\u201d, dijo Martini, seg\u00fan un escueto texto que public\u00f3 la Embajada junto a la imagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este elogio del diplom\u00e1tico se emite en medio de una serie de cuestionamientos que el jefe policial enfrent\u00f3 en las \u00faltimas semanas tras la filtraci\u00f3n de audios de algunas de sus conversaciones.

Incluso se abri\u00f3 una investigaci\u00f3n en contra de Sokol en la Fiscal\u00eda de La Paz a denuncia del vicepresidente Edmand Lara y por ese caso est\u00e1 citado para declarar este viernes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
