Sin embargo, el Defensor del Pueblo advierte que muchas familias a\u00fan enfrentan los efectos del encarecimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La inflaci\u00f3n registr\u00f3 una ca\u00edda de 2,79% en julio, la primera variaci\u00f3n mensual negativa de 2026. El dato refleja un cambio de tendencia despu\u00e9s de 53 d\u00edas de bloqueos, que alteraron el abastecimiento, distorsionaron el mercado de alimentos y provocaron fuertes diferencias de precios entre regiones. Sin embargo, el alivio que muestran las estad\u00edsticas oficiales todav\u00eda no se percibe plenamente en el presupuesto de muchas familias bolivianas.<br><br>El Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica (INE) inform\u00f3 que la inflaci\u00f3n acumulada entre enero y julio se ubic\u00f3 en 1,89%, mientras que la variaci\u00f3n a doce meses descendi\u00f3 de 9,23% en junio a 4,93% en julio. Seg\u00fan la entidad, la principal causa de este resultado fue la normalizaci\u00f3n del abastecimiento tras el levantamiento de los bloqueos, que permiti\u00f3 reducir el precio de varios productos de la canasta familiar.<br><br>La disminuci\u00f3n del IPC estuvo impulsada principalmente por la divisi\u00f3n de alimentos y bebidas no alcoh\u00f3licas, que tiene el mayor peso dentro del \u00edndice de precios. La recuperaci\u00f3n del transporte de mercanc\u00edas permiti\u00f3 que frutas, verduras y otros alimentos volvieran a abastecer los mercados, corrigiendo parte de los incrementos registrados durante mayo y junio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los bloqueos, sin embargo, dejaron dos realidades muy distintas. Mientras el desabastecimiento elev\u00f3 el precio de numerosos alimentos en ciudades del occidente, en Santa Cruz muchos productores no pudieron trasladar su producci\u00f3n y se vieron obligados a vender pollo, leche, hortalizas y otros productos perecederos incluso por debajo de sus costos para evitar p\u00e9rdidas mayores.<br><br>Un estudio del Centro de Estudios Populi coincide en que la ca\u00edda de la inflaci\u00f3n respondi\u00f3 principalmente al restablecimiento del abastecimiento y no a un cambio estructural de la econom\u00eda. En otras palabras, el descenso del IPC refleja que los mercados comenzaron a normalizarse una vez levantados los bloqueos, m\u00e1s que una reducci\u00f3n generalizada de los costos que enfrenta el pa\u00eds.<br><br>El mismo an\u00e1lisis advierte que esa mejora no alcanz\u00f3 a todos los bienes y servicios. Mientras varios alimentos redujeron sus precios, rubros como el transporte y los combustibles continuaron registrando incrementos, por lo que muchas familias siguen percibiendo que el costo de vida permanece elevado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La diferencia entre las estad\u00edsticas oficiales y la realidad cotidiana de los hogares tambi\u00e9n fue documentada por la Defensor\u00eda del Pueblo. Su monitoreo identific\u00f3 que durante los bloqueos productos b\u00e1sicos registraron incrementos extraordinarios: en La Paz, por ejemplo, el tomate lleg\u00f3 a subir un 211,5%, la zanahoria un 217,5% y el pl\u00e1tano hasta un 229,5%, mientras la leche fluida y el aceite a granel incluso desaparecieron temporalmente de algunos mercados.<br><br>Aunque varios de esos precios comenzaron a corregirse tras la normalizaci\u00f3n del abastecimiento, el informe concluye que numerosas familias redujeron la cantidad y calidad de los alimentos que consum\u00edan, sustituyeron productos por opciones m\u00e1s econ\u00f3micas y modificaron sus h\u00e1bitos de compra para enfrentar el encarecimiento de la canasta b\u00e1sica.<br><br>Aunque el abastecimiento comenz\u00f3 a normalizarse y la inflaci\u00f3n retrocedi\u00f3 en julio, el poder de compra de los hogares no se recupera de inmediato. Carlos Aranda, autor del estudio del Centro de Estudios Populi, considera que el desaf\u00edo ahora es consolidar esa estabilidad evitando nuevas interrupciones del abastecimiento y enfrentando otros factores que siguen presionando los costos, como la escasez de di\u00e9sel, las dificultades log\u00edsticas y la incertidumbre cambiaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El reto es lograr la estabilidad, evitando nuevas interrupciones del abastecimiento<br><br>Sobre el tema<br><br>Respiro.
