5 de junio.- La senadora de Unidad, Soledad Chapet\u00f3n, vot\u00f3 en contra del proyecto de ley que regula los estados de excepci\u00f3n, aprobado este jueves por el pleno de la C\u00e1mara de Senadores, seg\u00fan pudo conocer este viernes el peri\u00f3dico digital Ugrente.bo. La norma obtuvo amplio respaldo de las bancadas y fue remitida a la C\u00e1mara de Diputados para su revisi\u00f3n.

Chapet\u00f3n vive en la ciudad de El Alto, cerca de una zona afectada por los bloqueos instalados por distintos sectores sociales, quienes piden la renuncia de Rodrigo Paz a la presidencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El tratamiento del proyecto gener\u00f3 cerca de dos horas de debate en su aprobaci\u00f3n en grande, aunque durante la revisi\u00f3n en detalle los 19 art\u00edculos fueron avalados sin mayores observaciones. De los 32 senadores presentes, entre sesiones presenciales y virtuales, el promedio de respaldo alcanz\u00f3 25 votos a favor.

Antes de llegar al pleno, la Comisi\u00f3n de Constituci\u00f3n modific\u00f3 el texto original, eliminando 10 de los 37 art\u00edculos propuestos y suprimiendo disposiciones referidas al control legislativo, la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas, el rol del Defensor del Pueblo y la evaluaci\u00f3n posterior de los estados de excepci\u00f3n. Con esos cambios, la normativa pas\u00f3 a Diputados, donde podr\u00eda comenzar a ser tratada este fin de semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
