La Paz, 30 de septiembre de 2024.- Tuvieron que arder m\u00e1s de 7 millones de hect\u00e1reas en mas de 3 meses de emergencia para que el gobierno tomara la decisi\u00f3n de declarar este lunes desastre nacional por los incendios que azotan al pa\u00eds, principalmente al oriente, desde hace al menos tres meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
La ministra de la Presidencia, Mar\u00eda Nela Prada, transmiti\u00f3 el mensaje que asumi\u00f3 el Gobierno del presidente Luis Arce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El gobierno emiti\u00f3 el Decreto Supremo 5235, declarando desastre nacional debido a los incendios forestales que afectan varias regiones del pa\u00eds. Esta medida permitir\u00e1 gestionar la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional para enfrentar la crisis, en coordinaci\u00f3n con los ministerios. Se extremar\u00e1n los recursos para combatir el fuego y reconstruir viviendas, adem\u00e1s de garantizar la seguridad alimentaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El presidente Luis Arce explic\u00f3 que ya se enviaron dos cr\u00e9ditos a la Asamblea Legislativa, destinados a contratar m\u00e1s aviones, adaptar helic\u00f3pteros y cubrir los gastos necesarios para combatir los incendios. Hizo un llamado a los legisladores, quienes previamente manifestaron preocupaci\u00f3n por la situaci\u00f3n, para que aprueben estos fondos lo m\u00e1s pronto posible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Asimismo, Arce inform\u00f3 sobre un proyecto de ley que endurecer\u00e1 las penas por quemas no controladas, aumentando las sanciones y prohibiendo la distribuci\u00f3n de tierras incendiadas durante un periodo de entre 5 y 10 a\u00f1os. La propuesta busca frenar la pr\u00e1ctica de quemas ilegales, que agravan la crisis ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El mandatario tambi\u00e9n exhort\u00f3 al sistema de justicia a imponer castigos ejemplares contra los responsables de estos incendios, destacando la necesidad de una acci\u00f3n firme para prevenir futuras cat\u00e1strofes ambientales en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
